This was awarded to us due to our increased membership and number of teams, the increased number of coaches, players, umpires and scorekeepers attending clinics and workshops and our overall commitment to developing baseball in our area and the region. Matthew Majeur commits to Marshall University
NCAA Division 1

It's now official, Matthew has signed his National Letter
of Intent and committed to Marshall University. The Marshall Thundering Herd Baseball Team represents the school in the NCAA Division 1 College Baseball
and competes in Conference USA.

Ever since he started playing baseball, Matthew has dreamed of playing baseball at a higher level. You cannot imagine the hours he spent hitting of the batting tee in the backyard and throwing the ball against the wall. When everybody else was having a good time, he was going to bed early, waking up early, all this to practice even more. He just always loved playing baseball. Such a hard-working young man. Such sacrifices. I know this is a dream come true for him and this is why I wanted to share this news with you. Words cannot express how proud I am right now. So proud.
