Championship for Mosquito Royals

Pleased to announce a championship for our Royals at the 36th St-Eustache Mosquito Tournament. Under the guidance of Head Coach Ray, the team finished a perfect 5-0, including 3 hard-fought wins on the last day of the tournament.

Girls Baseball Day – July 15

Girls Baseball Day will take place on Saturday, July 15 at Denis-Boucher Park in Lachine (that’s the park still known as Lasalle). On that day, the 2017 LSL Girls Baseball Day, the 21U provincial girls teamwill offer clinics to Lac St.Louis girls in the morning and play adoubleheader against the Midget AAA Lachine A’s in the afternoon.

The morning clinics will be a great opportunity to develop your baseball skills and to meet Quebec’s best girls baseball players! Our LSL girlsbaseball ambassadors will be there, and are particularly looking forward to seeing you – come meet Erica Ahad, Evelyn Laferrière and Fatima Robles-Rivas, long-standing LSL players who will share with you their love of baseball.

VOLUNTEER SCREENING - DORVAL RESIDENTS

The next Volunteer Screening session will be held on Tuesday, June 13 from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Sarto Desnoyers Community Centre, 1335 Lakeshore Drive.

All volunteers must be screened every three years.

This includes anyone residing to the east as well as in Dorval.

Please note that we are no longer accepting registrations for the following levels:

ATOM (2008-2009)
MOSQUITO (2006-2007)
BANTAM (2002-2003)
MIDGET (1999-2001)

These levels are now FULL

There still remains a few spots at the NOVICE (2010-2012) level and 1 spot at the PeeWee (2004-2005) level.

VOLUNTEER SCREENING

Reminder: All coaches, assistant coaches and parents who plan on helping out on the field or on the bench with the players MUST have their volunteer cards. There will be no exceptions this year.

POINTE-CLAIRE RESIDENTS
Screening will be available at 94 Douglas Shand from Monday – Friday 8:00-4:00. Closed from 12:00-1:00.

You will need two pieces of identification (drivers license, medicare or passport).
It takes about five minutes to complete the form with the employee.

Baseball West Island is looking for umpires
for the upcoming season!

Baseball West Island is looking for umpires for our upcoming season. Umpires should be 14 or over, although in exceptional cases 13 yr olds will be accepted. Adults are also welcomed. Umpires do not need to be players.

Training is provided by the Lac St Louis Region (usually on a weekend in the spring ) and paid for by BWI provided the umpire works at least five games for us during the season.
